Ofri Dar is a designer based in Tel Aviv and an honors graduate of the Industrial Design Department at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. During her time at Bezalel, she worked as an exhibition designer, industrial designer at Waves Audio Co., and as a researcher of frustrated materials in Prof. Eran Sharon’s lab at the Racah Institute of Physics, HUJI. She also interned at Carnegie Mellon University with the Morphing-Matter Lab research group.

Currently, Ofri is pursuing an M.Sc. in Architecture at the Technion, focusing on morphing materials under the guidance of Dr. Arielle Blonder and Prof. Eran Sharon. Alongside her studies, she worked as a project manager, designer, curator and co-leads the interdisciplinary project "Creative-Differences," which was showcased at the Design Biennale in London.

 

Ofri's work explores the connections between humanity, science, and nature, blending analytical research with intuitive exploration. Her diverse toolkit includes design software, programming, workshop fabrication, and handcrafting.
